This and our ‘investment mindset’ are key factors in our commissioning and building some of the best and most innovative vessels on the market. We own our offices, workshop and boatyard. Spirit of innovation

Commercial Rib Charter pioneered shallow draft crew transfer boats. We are unique in having 15m offshore twin jet drive shallow draft vessels with 12 passenger capacity that are road transportable and thus may be mobilised anywhere in Europe within 24 hours. CRC have had designed and built the world’s first Amphibious Crew Transfer Vessel. This spirit of innovation has been a key factor in our success.

Digital competence and resilience

CRC Have fully embraced the digital environment. We operate without physical servers and run every aspect of our business with tried and tested software. We have separate portals for each vessel and for our crews.

Company ownership

Commercial Rib Charter is a trading name of Solent Rib Charters Ltd. Established in 2001, Solent Rib Charters Ltd is Europe’s largest commercial Rib operator with a fleet of 48 vessels . The business is still in its original private ownership and is fortunate to operate with a strong and talented management team ably supported by a fantastic team of employees, with an incredibly low staff turnover.
