Work boat hire for standby duties
Work boats required for standby duties are available in a full range of sizes with varying draft and deck layouts. CRC vessels are suitable for standby work on construction projects including repairs to bridges, quays, harbour walls, and piers. Our cabin Ribs are well suited to long duration standby roles as they offer full weather protection as well as heating, power and other comforts. Our larger boats have a full galley and heads.

Crewing requirements
Many customers requiring standby boats want to provide their own crew. This is possible on all of our boats although the qualifications and experience required increase as the size of the work boat increases. We can provide crew if required whether for short or long term contracts. We are able to crew 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, on flexible shifts patterns.
Specifying the right standby boat
Please run through your project with us to help specify the most cost effective boat for the project in hand. Let us help to write the risk assessment for the project to cover location, time of year, and all risk factors. We will help identify exactly the right work boat to act as a standby vessel. We have some smart tactics to help minimise costs and assist you in winning your tender. All of our work boats are fully certified and coded.
