We have considerable experience in planning and supporting cross-channel activities, from swimming and kayaking to free-fall flight, kitesurfing and wind surfing crossings. With a wide range of safety boat cover options, we provide correctly coded vessels with the additional equipment necessary for the challenge. In addition to cross channel support, CRC have been involved in a number of endurance kitesurfing and windsurfing challenges.

Having been involved in many record attempts over the years, we understand how important your attempt is, and how crucial it is for you to succeed. Our safety boat support will be a vital part of your record attempt and we are very aware of our responsibility.

We have experience in providing crewed safety boat hire services for a wide variety of major events including offshore sailing, Formula 1 powerboat, cross channel races, kite surfing records and charity swimming. Our safety boat skippers are fully qualified and we also provide crew with a wide range of specialist skills including mud rescue, paramedics, rescue swimmers, divers and drone operators.

In addition to the safety equipment carried for coding, we have safety boats equipped with blue lights, sirens, loudhailers, search lights, diver recovery systems, lifting davits, stretchers, defibrillators and other emergency equipment as required including mud rescue equipment.
