Integrated Dive System
CRC Galaxy DSV is fitted with a complete, integrated dive spread, allowing it to operate as a standalone dive support platform. The system includes a 3-diver panel with standby provision, and 100m of umbilical’s supporting air, pneumo, comms and video. Subsea monitoring is provided via AXSUB recording systems and a central command screen, enabling real-time oversight and efficient dive management.
Launch and Recovery
CRC Galaxy DSV is equipped with a bespoke stern dive platform and ladder, designed for safe and controlled launch and recovery. The working area is floodlit and complete with CCTV, with an emergency rescue davit installed to support recovery operations. This setup provides clear visibility and control from the dive station, ensuring safe operations even in adverse conditions.
Vessel Capability
Built on the proven 15m cabin Rib platform, CRC Galaxy DSV retains its shallow draft, waterjet propulsion and offshore coding. Twin Volvo Penta engines paired with Hamilton jets provide excellent maneuverability and increased safety around divers, while the 0.8m draft allows access to nearshore and restricted locations. MCA Category 2 coding enables operations up to 60nm offshore, making the vessel suitable for a wide range of commercial dive projects. CRC Galaxy features 2-point Henriksen Hooks rated to 16,000kg, or 1-point with the use of a spreader beam.
Welfare and Endurance
CRC Galaxy provides full onboard welfare to support extended dive operations. The enclosed cabin is complete with suspension seating, galley and heads with shower, allowing dive teams to operate comfortably offshore. Integrated power systems and backup supply ensure reliability for critical equipment, supporting safe and efficient operations throughout the working day.
