Benthic, epibenthic and pelagic survey

Commercial Rib Charter provide survey boats for a broad scope of environmental surveys for a host of different organisations and interest groups. We work with survey companies to identify the best survey boats for the study, budget and operating area.

Ecological survey

Because our survey boat charter services draw upon an exceptionally wide variety of boats owned by Commercial Rib Charter (we have over 40 vessels on fleet), we are able to support a range of survey types. Our survey boats have been used for a comprehensive array of ecological surveys in the past, from water sampling in marinas to soil extractions in estuaries.

Deploying equipment

Several of our larger survey boats are equipped with survey poles to allow quick and easy deployment of instruments and sensors over the side. All our larger survey boats are equipped with davits and our largest survey vessel, CRC Sentinel, is equipped with a 2.8T deck crane – ideal for launching ROVs.
