Track record

Commercial Rib Charter have worked on a wide range of projects throughout the UK and Europe providing clients with a cost effective and reliable service. Our purpose built fast crew transfer Ribs have a proven track record of transferring personnel and equipment in absolute safety on a number of different wind farms and subsea cable landings including Galloper, Rampion, Burbo Bank, London Array, Gabbard and Race Bank.

Fast shallow draft boats

CRC specialise in offering fast, efficient and cost effective crew transfer Ribs. We operate a fleet of over 48 vessels ranging from 3m to 20m. All of our vessels are specifically designed to operate in shallow waters, making them the ideal craft for near shore transfers in waters which aren’t navigable by most catamaran CTVs. This unique capability allows clients to work 24hr shifts on barges close to shore with crew changes possible at any state of tide.

Economic

Our vessels have been designed and built with efficiency and economy in mind. Due to their weight and power the CRC vessels are capable of transferring up to 12 PAX at speeds of up to 30kts at much lower running costs than most crew transfer vessels.

Safety

All the vessels in CRC’s fleet are coded to MCA category 2. Each vessel carries an array of safety equipment and lifesaving appliances that exceed coding requirements, including defibrillators, spinal boards, PLBs, SARTs, EPIRBs, man overboard recovery davits, immersion suits and more. We run a comprehensive and externally audited Safety Management System.
