CRC 8.8m Open Ribs (qty 12)

Our fleet of twelve open 8.8m Ribs are the origin of CRC; together with seven more of the 7.8m variant we have nineteen in total with smaller variants in addition. The Ribs are fitted with 250hp or 300hp Suzuki outboards, with low hours and serviced to schedule. They are equipped with plotter, sounder, VHF, DSC, AIS, seating for ten and a full height front console. They are available both with a skipper and on bareboat charter, and can be delivered by road anywhere in Europe in under 24 hours.

Open Ribs are ideal for safety, guard and patrol work. We offer the option of removing the pod seats to create work boat style deck space suitable for shallow water surveying or dive support. Portable ‘class A’ AIS units can be fitted, along with blue lights, and silent running generators. Signage is available for the tubes and console to show other water users the vessel’s role. We have fabricated several ‘bow-push modules’ with a bollard push of over 1 ton, specifically for cable landings.

All our open Ribs are coded to MCA Category 3 and can be operated 20 miles from a safe haven during day or night. Uniquely, we have built and equipped our Ribs to conform with IMCA CMID/MISW standards making them ideal workboats for offshore projects. Several of our open Ribs are also Police Boat coded and others are coded to work on the River Thames.
